Dutch Trance legend Armin Van Buuren dropped one of the finest mainroom essential mixes we’ve seen early on Saturday morning last. In a special edition three hour mix for BBC R1 he showcased much of his upcoming album “Intense” plus a number of exclusives from BT, Alexander Popov, Orjan Nilsen, Arty and more. One of the things that impressed us most about the mix was the build in bpm which sees Armin take it from 125 all the way up to 138. The concept of the build is something that seems to be too often forgotten by many of today’s young djs. Armin’s mix shows just how much of an impact it can have.
