The SIGS: Launch Night Lowdown

Francoys
Dublin, Europe, Events
17 November 2017

Snakes are the prime feature of this new pop up club night, The SIGS. Most of you will be familiar with this elongated reptile, but not this new night that has graced the Dublin scene. Well, they share similar characteristics.  Before you even realise, the night will be at one place, and then will pop up slyly to the next. Both involve a lethal injection- one of poison, one of tunes.

Although it is hard to predict the sneaky nature of the snake, we are able to anticipate their launch night which is on this Friday. Most snakes can be found in Australia, and that’s exactly where the headline will be coming from… Suspicious-ssssss.

Headlining the night we have Touch Sensitive for his Ireland debut after returning with his full length album Visions to follow up his cult hit, Pizza Guy. He has proven his worth as a vital contributor to his home-country label, Future Classic, who have the likes of Flume, Chet Faker and Flight Facilities on their rostra.

Snakes put the ‘kill’ in KILNAMANA which is the support act for the premiere SIGS night. The duo wowed the audience at this years edition of Hard Working Class Heroes with their sonically rich live performance. Dream-pop core is just a slither of the music they produce, emotion soaked tones and a mischievous sense of melody pushes their music capabilities to a new level.

Fan or not of our cold blooded friends, you should all bop to this new stop.
