Secret Cinema’s Gem Records return with an EP by one of Amsterdam’s finest talents: VNTM. At only 24, he is starting to turn heads with releases on Stil Vor Talent, Filth On Acid and Days Like Nights under his belt. His EP for Gem Records is one of his deepest and most trippy to date.

An interesting side project to the young producer’s releases are a series of short videos he is producing in collaboration with his sister and videographer Romee Ven. Subject of the videos is VNTM surrounded by the infrastructure and industry of his hometown Amsterdam to the soundtrack of his music. VNTM’s Enigma EP starts off with the title track; A dark, dubby, pounding groove with layer upon layer of echoey ambient industrial sounds which could have been field recordings in Amsterdam city’s harbour or railway track. Track two is an epic, tripped out, eyes closed spacer with a deeeeep break which is kept alive only by the arpeggio flying around, High Above.
