Belfast based label Extended Play Recordings look to the south once more as they put the spotlight on Dublin’s Ron Elliot, winner of last year’s emerging producer competition with the AVA festival.

‘Hive’ really is a piece of first class emotive electro, by the time it’s nagging groove gets to the euphoric chords in the breakdown the hairs on the back of our necks were upright. ‘ADSR’ is exactly the kind of rough jacking club number we absolutely lap up and hits the floor correctly every single time. ‘Warehouse Love’, percussive afro flecked house that once again features big Ron’s synth skills to excellent affect. Belfast duo PSST complete the package with a dub meets electro hybrid on their take of Hive.
