Djuma Soundsystem is back on Iziki with a very soulful song, with Egyptian Adel Mekha on vocals, backed up by remixes from Fake Mood and Darksidevinyl. ‘Manlaton’ is a very deep house tune, featuring a vocal so beautiful, that it made our spine tingle!

Adel Mekha is from the small Egyptian tribe of Mattokki. He sings directly to our hearts, in his native Nubian language ‘Kenzi’. Both remixers keep true to the original story, but give it a more dance floor-friendly approach. First up the Russian duo Fake Mood adds marimbas and percussions that make the body move as well as your mind wander. Darksidevinyl uses a canvas full of colors, strings, atmosphere and tweaks that gives room for his own recorded guitar session. Manlaton is a song – not just another DJ tool!
