Miss Monique’s Siona Records continues to lead the melodic revolution from the front with a fine new EP from Brigado Crew. It features three collaborative tunes – one each alongside MAC:ANNÂ, AFFKT and Crisstiano – and is another forward thinking offering.

Brian Harrison and Martin Kasall are Brigado Crew and they have released their music on top labels like Stil vor Talent, Sincopat and many more. They have played all over the world and impress again here.

First up, they link with MAC:ANNÂ for ‘Existence’ and lay down deep, rolling basslines with thunderous claps and drums overlaid with some scintillating synth lines that bring scale. It is then AFFKT who joins them on ‘Python’ which is a deeply hypnotic roller with fizzing pads and crisp beats taking you higher.

The final collab is with Crisstiano on ‘Kidness’ and this one has spoken word snippets over snappy drums that get you in the groove and keep you there as the deft synth lines shine bright up above.
