Josh Butler returns to Kaoz Theory this November alongside THEOS for their collaborative four-track ‘House Legacy’ EP.

As the title of the EP would suggest, the project captures the essence of house throughout and leading the release is ‘Another Place’ featuring. Maritime Yacht Club, journeying through swinging rhythms, choppy intertwined chords, soulful vocals and a bouncy bass groove. ‘Bringing It Back’ feat. Marck Jamz then shifts gears into a more stripped back realm with gritty bass stabs and sharp stabs ebbing and flowing around crisp drums and hip house vocal lines.

‘Check The R’ follows next with dubby chord flutters, tension building strings and jazzy keys underpinned by hooky vocal lines and shuffled percussion. ‘Break It Up’ then concludes the EP with a more classic loop-led house feel, fusing snappy snares and metallic hits with processed vocal shots and a heavy dose of driving low-end.
