Rising from France’s all-embracing electronic underground, Emma B draws inspiration from her experiences as a DJ and as an aficionado of dance music. In her formative years, she became immersed in Southern France’s rave scene – in which she affectionally refers to as her “first musical crush.”
As a self-taught DJ and producer, the now Paris-based Emma B traverses the house spectrum employing elements of minimal, progressive, and big-beat styles whilst embodying the spirit of 80s and 90s counterculture. By possessing such a deep connection with both electronic music and fashion, she is also the founder of thriving vintage outlet OLDĒ, Emma is just as comfortable curating mixes for the likes of Givenchy as she is performing at clubs such as Sisyphos, Fabric, or Shelter.
Wideley regarded for her crisp mixing abilities – which can be experienced by viewing her flawless debut for HOR last year – Emma B’s aptitude for production led to her being signed to Sarah Story’s STORIES imprint where she released her ‘Les Mots’ EP feat. Parisian duo Radio Cargo.
Harnessing the same entrepreneurial energy which has fuelled her career as a climate-focused brand owner and successful DJ, Emma B has now announced details of her own record label, Notte Eterna, meaning ‘eternal night’ in Italian. To be launched in March, the imprint’s sound is influenced by the carefree, uninhibited energy of Mediterranean nightlife.
“Notte Eterna is a deeply personal project for me. It reflects my roots, and my vision for creating a space where music, art, and culture collide without boundaries. I wanted to capture the hedonistic spirit of those timeless parties—where people come together to celebrate freedom and self-expression—and translate that into something modern and inclusive. With Notte Eterna, it’s not just about the music; it’s about building a whole universe that reflects my creative journey, from the sounds I love to the visuals, events, and even the fashion that inspires me. This is my way of inviting people into my world.” – Emma B
On ‘Eyes on Me’, Emma B’s charismatic nature can be felt deep within each beat. A swirling pad and honeyed string-arrangement make up the core of this club-centric gem, whilst Emma’s playful but mischievous vocal’s shimmer, a wobbling bassline provides the foundation for a pattern of whooshing dance effects to induce sporadic fist pumping throughout.
You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Eyes On Me’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
