Berlin’s Oliver Dollar unveils part three of his ‘Contemporary’ series, releasing on Radio Slave’s Rekids and following up last year’s parts one and two, which featured the likes of Harvard Bass, Brillstein, ADMN, and Austin Ato, and won support from the likes of Nightmares On Wax, Anja Schneider, Laurent Garnier, Carista, Jennifer Cardini, Dam Swindle, and more.

Part three of ‘Contemporary’ sees Oliver Dollar invite another cast of hotly tipped collaborators, kicking off the EP with Melbourne DJ and producers Ben Silver and Boogs – both resident DJs at Revolver Upstairs – for ‘Cosmic Weapon.’ Their track features lush, poignant chords underpinned by a rolling groove, with vocal samples warped, chopped, and sliced above for a mind-melting trip.

Up next, ‘What Cha’ Gonna Do?’ sees Dollar team up with Apropos, whose inimitable voice previously featured on ‘Contemporary Part One,’ and talented Detroit vocalist Boog Brown for a soulful duet. Last up is another Motor City link-up featuring the earworm vocals of Billy Love and Hazmat Live on production alongside Oliver Dollar for the infectious House energy of ‘Ought To Be Love.’

Oliver Dollar’s ‘Contemporary Part Three’ traverses modern and classic House with ease and shows once again what masterful collaboration sounds like.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘What Cha’ Gonna Do?’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
