Dilby makes his full debut on Sudbeat with a solid double-header. Hailing from New Zealand, Berlin-based DJ and Producer, Dilby has taken the world by storm. A slew of releases on high profile labels such as Bondage, 8Bit, and Selador has cemented his place in the deep house/progressive scene with a sound that straddles both with bags of personality and funk.

Opening with ‘Lost Horizon,’ that trademark warm, smooth sound is evident from the first bar. Building energy in the first section, snappy percussive layers join icy pads, dramatic sweeps and groovy keys. Powering forward in the midsection, the main break is a work of genius, dropping out layers but maintaining all the energy and punch.

On the flipside, ‘Lost’ takes a deeper path. Rubbery bass, shuffling hats, and bags of audio candy keep things interesting in the early stages, then the groove takes over for a late night stomp! Bladerunner-esque in its sound design, this is a serious slice of contemporary house music that will annihilate the dancefloor when dropped at the right time.
