Loco Dice’s longstanding Desolat label welcomes Peruvian talent Sunday Noise back to the label for a high-impact return with his latest three-track EP, ‘Like A Lexus’, landing on 29th August. A sharp offering, this release sees the ascending DJ/producer fuse tech-house swagger with raw underground energy across three standout cuts.

The title track ‘Like A Lexus’, in collaboration with Spain’s Javitoh, leads with percussive funk, rubbery electro-leaning synths, and hi-hats that snap and sway around a wonky, thudding groove. There’s a touch of theatrical flair here, almost fanfare-like, making it a true peak-time weapon with unmistakable character. Up next, ‘Preminicious’, Sunday Noise and Chicago’s Shawn Jackson flex grit and groove, blending gritty rap vocals, pulsating beats, and a rowdy FX undercurrent into a stripped-back, percussive heater built for dimly lit basements and peak-time floors alike. Closing things out, Sunday Noise joins forces with Venezuelan Abuekev for ‘Si Tu Quiere’ , a tight cut layering a building atmosphere with a pounding bassline and tense, cinematic textures. It’s a late-night slow-burner that rounds off the EP with pure hypnotic pressure.

Control Music boss Sunday Noise, aka Rodrigo Carranza, has rocketed into international territory, delivering notable releases on acclaimed labels such as SB Recordings, Elrow, and SOLA. Now, with his ‘Like A Lexus’ EP landing via Loco Dice’s Desolat, he brings yet another dose of idiosyncratic club power from Peru to the world.

You can now listen to the full premiere of his collab with Abuekev ‘Si Tu Quiere’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
