A true legend of house music, Roland Clark makes a triumphant return to his own imprint, Delete International, with a powerful and poetic new single, ‘The DJ Stole My Soul’.

For decades, the New York native has been a cornerstone of the global house scene—his unmistakable voice and artistry gracing records alongside Fatboy Slim, Armand Van Helden, David Guetta, and many more. With releases on iconic labels like Toolroom, Defected, Nervous, Get Physical, and Armada, Roland Clark’s influence continues to shape the sound and spirit of house music worldwide.

His latest outing captures everything fans love about his artistry. “The DJ Stole My Soul’ is built on a deep, hypnotic groove, enriched with a chunky acid bassline, crisp percussion, and warm pads. Layered with sax stabs and Clark’s signature soulful spoken word, the track nods to the classics while pushing forward. A highlight moment comes with the clever use of the timeless lyric, “last night a DJ saved my life,” seamlessly woven into Clark’s own narrative—paying homage to house history while adding a new chapter of his own.

For DJs and producers, an acapella version is also included, opening the door for endless creative reinterpretations.

With ‘The DJ Stole My Soul’, Roland Clark reminds us once again why his voice, vision, and presence remain essential to the genre’s DNA.

You can now listen to the full premiere of Roland Clark – The DJ Stole My Soul exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
