Charity Redding is a Nebraska-raised DJ, producer, and sonic storyteller whose journey through music is as powerful and transformative as the sets she spins. A product of the ’90s rave scene, she was first drawn to the community and freedom of underground dance culture, a space where sound spoke louder than words. Voted “Most Likely to Be a DJ” in high school and cutting her teeth in radio during her early years, her path into music felt destined, even when the odds were stacked against her.

With no support from family and after years of personal struggle, Charity made the life-changing decision to get sober in 2012. That choice became a spiritual rebirth, the first true step toward reclaiming her purpose and embracing the dream she’d always carried in her heart: making music that not only moved crowds, but healed and uplifted them.

Pre-pandemic, she launched her tech house alias Bubblewrappe, along with her inclusive label 3rd Virtue, dedicated to giving marginalized voices a place to shine. But when the world stopped in 2020, Charity chose to go inward, enrolling in music school for the third time to deepen her craft and elevate her musicality.

It was during this introspective period that she had an epiphany: she hadn’t been making music that truly resonated with her soul. The pressure to conform to trends, identities, and expectations had clouded her voice. So she shed the alias, dropped the mask, and returned to her roots, releasing music under her real name and allowing her true sound to emerge: softer, more feminine, emotionally rich, and deeply authentic.

Charity’s current work reflects the love, vulnerability, and strength that define her as both a woman and an artist. She’s fiercely female-forward, bringing warmth, sensuality, and radical compassion to a scene that often leans cold and masculine. Through every beat, she challenges industry norms, dismantles ageism and sexism, and builds spaces where artistry is celebrated without limits.

Now, over a decade sober and fully aligned with her purpose, Charity is preparing to launch her new hybrid/live set, a bold fusion of DJing and live performance that showcases her evolution as a multifaceted artist. This new chapter is more than a comeback; it’s a culmination of grit, grace, and a relentless drive to turn struggle into sound. Whether behind the decks, curating community, or pushing boundaries in the studio, Charity Redding isn’t just here to play music, she’s here to change the way we feel it.
