DeepFaith drop new single ‘Y&I (save you online)’ in collaboration with Nina Kraviz & Archibeau

DeepFaith’s latest single ‘Y&I’ has been reimagined with global techno powerhouse Nina Kraviz and London indie-electronic producer Archibeau. Following the release of the original track, which premiered on Rolling Stone Australia, ‘Y&I’ continues its journey with a bold twist from electronic music’s most fearless visionaries.

Nina Kraviz stands at the vanguard of global electronic music as a producer, DJ, label curator, and genre disruptor. Her hypnotic sets and genre-melting productions have seen her headline the world’s biggest festivals, from Tomorrowland to Coachella. With her label трип (trip), Nina has shaped the future of electronic music, always pushing boundaries and championing the unexpected.

The story behind the remix begins far before its creation with DeepFaith’s Byron Spencer first connected with Nina Kraviz during the digital haze of the Covid era, when FaceTime shoots with creatives like Julia Fox, Porches, and Sydney Sweeney became the new norm. “Even through the screen, Nina was magnetic, pulling the camera right into her face until it filled my desktop in Sydney. In an instant, we were connected. That shoot sparked a digital friendship where we began to share music, thoughts, and pieces of ourselves. There was an unusual safety between us, a trust that grew quietly across the distance.”

Years later, the pair finally met in Sydney, capturing raw, intimate visuals for Nina’s ‘Tarde,’ dancing on the rocks at La Perouse at sunset, letting sound and movement blur the lines between friendship and art. That same spirit pulses through Nina and Archi’s remix of ‘Y&I’, which dives deeper into her world of digital charge and emotional gravity. “Her reimagining feels like a call across the ether, half-love song, half-digital farewell: ‘love you – leave you – save you – online – bye bye.’”

Bringing Archiebeau onto the project brought a feral electric sound to the track, combining all their sonic tapestry. First breaking onto the scene in Paris alongside Babymorocco, the French name ‘Archibeau’ stuck. He went on to DJ London clubs and parties, as well as select cities for Babymorocco on tour with The Dare, and for iKeda with PinkPantheress. His own visual practice runs parallel to his sound eg. collaborating with Mechatok, much like DeepFaiths’. His production work hits on remixes, with a rework of Seren 4 Ever’s “Life & Death” on The Girl Who Screwed A Government (Remixes) EP, alongside other remixers such as CFCF, and a remix for Gossip Queens in the works. DeepFaith’s Danial Stricker first met Archibeau while hand-picked to dj for The Dare at his famous freakquencies parties in London, where they ‘bonded over bloghouse’.

DeepFaith’s world is maximalist, high-dramatic, and community-fuelled. The project of Byron Spencer and Danial Stricker and their creative orbit blends Hollywood musicals, rave, opera, and AI clickbait, all anchored by a love of melody and pop hooks and this remix is no exception. Their recent run includes a headline-making Berlin Art Week and Sydney performance alongside Peaches, Casey Spooner and others, genre-bending club nights, and more surprises on the horizon.

The ‘Y&I’ remix with Nina Kraviz and Archibeau is a collision of creative worlds, a testament to digital kinship and the power of sonic reinvention.
