Today on When We Dip Radio, we’re excited to premiere ‘Station Rave’, the new and driving lead cut from Ron Flatter’s latest two-track EP, released on his own imprint, Pour La Vie Rec.

True to his unmistakable club-focused aesthetic, ‘Station Rave’ delivers a tightly wound and energetic groove, built around punchy drums, rolling low-end pressure and finely detailed synth movement. The track strikes a powerful balance between raw drive and subtle musicality, unfolding with controlled tension and forward momentum that make it perfectly suited for peak-time floors while still carrying Ron’s warm and refined production touch.

The EP is completed by ‘Walking Down The Line’, a deeper and more restrained companion that leans into hypnotic rhythm, flowing percussion and a more introspective atmosphere. Together, the two tracks form a compact and focused release, highlighting both sides of Ron Flatter’s sound, energetic and direct, yet always carefully textured and emotionally aware.

For more than a decade, Ron Flatter has been a consistent and respected presence in the European house and techno landscape. Known for his distinctive sound design, groove-driven arrangements and melodic sensitivity, the German producer has built a catalogue of releases on respected labels such as Still vor Talent and Traum Schallplatten, alongside his own Pour La Vie Rec.

Older releases like ‘Stupid World’ and ‘Desert’ have earned strong reactions from DJs worldwide, praised for their combination of heavyweight drums, emotional piano elements and carefully placed breakdowns that bring both surprise and impact to the dancefloor.

As a DJ, Ron Flatter is equally recognised for his warm, energetic and highly responsive sets. He has performed across major clubs and festivals throughout Europe and holds a long-standing residency in Halle (Saale), where his ability to read the room and blend deep house, techno and everything in between has made him a local favourite.

With more than 50 EPs and singles, over 100 remixes and some full-length albums to his name, Ron Flatter continues to refine and evolve his sound with every release, and ‘Station Rave’ is a sharp reminder of his enduring relevance on modern dancefloors.
