German electronic producer Parra for Cuva releases ‘Towards Amber’, the second single from his forthcoming 6th studio LP Nacar, due for release on May 15th. Following the lead single ‘Selva, Selva,’ which introduced traditional Latin vocals and hypnotic organic textures, ‘Towards Amber’ explores a more introspective sonic territory while maintaining the producer’s signature balance between electronic precision and human warmth.

“‘Towards Amber’ connects to the melodic side of earlier Parra for Cuva releases while feeling more refined and spacious,” shares Parra for Cuva. “Chopped guitar samples, soft pads, and distant vocal textures drift over a steady rhythm. The arrangement evolves subtly, creating a sense of forward motion without obvious transitions. It has a warm, reflective mood like watching the light change at the end of the day.”

The release continues the momentum from ‘Selva, Selva’, which launched in February alongside a music video filmed during Parra for Cuva’s sold-out London Drumsheds performance in December. That show, which placed him alongside Paul Kalkbrenner, ZHU, and Stephan Bodzin, marked one of his biggest headline performances to date, part of a trajectory that has seen the Berlin-based artist surpass 1 billion streams worldwide and build a global following.

With ‘Nacar’, Parra for Cuva deepens his signature approach of combining live instrumentation, field recordings, and detailed electronic production into immersive soundscapes. The 12-track album will feature collaborations with Nathan Ball, orbit, CRi, Vraell, Cile, PALLADIAN, Aukai, and Vines, alongside tracks like ‘Towards Amber’, which showcase his solo production work. His European tour, announced alongside the album in February, includes headline shows at London’s Roundhouse, Berlin’s Huxleys Neue Welt, Amsterdam’s Paradiso, and Paris’s La Cigale, with several dates utilizing a balanced ticketing system to ensure accessibility for all fans. Additional North American tour dates and summer festival appearances, including Cercle Festival 2026, will be announced in the coming weeks.
