KAYATI is an emerging electronic star whose sound blends deep grooves, sensual melodies and percussion-led rhythms. ‘Mistake’ is chunky minimal house with a dubby undercurrent and fresh sound design. Freaky voices and whirring machines, off-grid hits and wonky vibes all make it a perfect late-night head spinner. ‘Flavor’ is also stripped back to a machine groove that is mid-tempo and darkly seductive. Modulating synths, smudged vocal stabs and erotic coos bring it to life with a real sense of mischief.
