Year3000 is more than a name on a label sleeve, it’s an imprint and studio alliance dedicated to mapping the future vectors of techno. The project unites two generations of producers in dialogue: one rooted in the grit of classic Detroit warehouses, the other drawn to faster, trancier and rhythmically denser strains of the genre. The result is a sound that feels modern and timeless at once, an ongoing investigation into how far techno can be pushed without losing its soul.

Hypnotic and fluid, ‘Tigermilk’ sits in that sweet spot between deep and driving techno. Warm, swirling pads melt into crisp drums and a subtly pulsing bassline, building a groove that feels at once smooth and powerful. It’s a late-night builder, elegant, immersive, and made for long blends in dimly lit rooms.
