Hailing from the Canary Islands, Alex Medina has been immersed in electronic music since 1993, releasing across some of the scene’s most respected imprints including Innervisions, Diynamic, Watergate, Tau, and his own Mumbai Records. His catalogue moves freely between deep house, deep techno and electronica, always escaping standards and conventionalisms in favour of his own boundary-pushing language.
This new EP feels like a natural extension of that journey, offering a window into the creative archive of one of Spain’s most distinctive electronic voices. Sum Over Histories, the Berlin-based label founded and curated by Frankey & Sandrino, has spent a decade carving out a singular space within contemporary electronic music.
