Detroit blood runs deep in Dantiez Saunderson, and you can feel it pulsing through every release he puts his name to. The son of techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson and singer-songwriter Ann Saunderson, Dantiez has spent the last decade carving out his own lane while paying respect to the city that started it all, with releases on Defected, Toolroom, Nervous, and of course KMS, where he now heads up A&R. Today, he steps onto an entirely new imprint with ‘BAD HABITS’, a track that opens a fresh chapter for both the artist and the label hosting it.

That label is NUDITY RECORDS, the freshly minted Argentine outfit helmed by Victoria Whynot. Born from a desire to strip back the noise and reconnect with the raw essence of dancefloor culture, NUDITY RECORDS launches with a bold statement of intent. The debut EP serves up the original mix from Dantiez, paired with a remix from label boss Victoria Whynot, setting the tone for what promises to be a thrilling new chapter in atmospheric, club-ready electronic music.

‘BAD HABITS’ is built for the floor. Dantiez locks in a peak-time groove and lets a haunting, ethereal vocal float across the top, creating a sense of tension and space that works just as well in a sweaty warehouse as it does on a sun-bleached terrace. There is restraint in the production, but no shortage of weight. It is the kind of track that creeps up on a room, then takes it apart.

For Victoria Whynot, this release is the culmination of years spent building her own signature sound at the intersection of house, Detroit, and indie dance. Having become the first Argentine DJ invited to speak at IMS Ibiza, and with releases that have shaped dancefloors across the globe, opening her label with someone of Dantiez’s stature speaks volumes about the ambition of the project. NUDITY RECORDS is here to deliver high-quality, atmospheric, and uncompromising dance music, and ‘BAD HABITS’ makes that mission impossible to ignore.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘BAD HABITS’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
