Bonnie Spacey is in a prolific stretch. With a studio album on the horizon for this fall, the Berlin-based DJ, producer and Critical Monday label boss is keeping the dancefloor fed in the meantime, rolling out a pair of high-velocity cuts built for peak hours. Known for blending noir aesthetics with club-ready energy, Spacey has carved out a sound that sits comfortably between retro-funk warmth and the heavier end of modern club music.

The latest of these is ‘Fever Maker’, a reunion with Argentine producer Favio Inker that lands on June 5th. The two first found their chemistry on ‘Alright’, and this follow-up proves that connection was no accident. Engineered for the kind of moment when a room is already moving and just needs a push, ‘Fever Maker’ is a bouncy, high-energy cut built on elastic synth lines that twist and snap across the groove.
