Mexican producer Trip Tease recently unveiled his debut album ‘Durango’ via clipp.art, an 11-track psychedelic trip that moves between misty house, melodic electronics, lo-fi pop, and organic textures.

Five years after his debut EP ‘Shades,’ Trip Tease expands his sound into an immersive world where nostalgia, movement and introspection coexist. Opening with the intergalactic pulse of ‘Jaguar’ and closing with the warm, ambient glow of ‘Lila,’ the album moves effortlessly between the dancefloor and a much more introspective space.

Processed drums, warm synths, emotional arpeggios and hypnotic grooves give the album the feeling of a perpetual morning light  like sunlight filtering through the spaces between the beats. Tracks such as ‘Seahorse’ carry a distinctly nostalgic, almost VHS-like warmth, while ‘Mina de Cobre’ settles into a more hazy and immersive atmosphere.

Sonically, the album sits in a space that may appeal to fans of Khruangbin, Poolside, and Nicola Cruz, while remaining distinctly Trip Tease dreamy, organic, melodic and quietly psychedelic.
