Taleman is back on Try To Find Sound with his brand new EP, ‘Acid Aikido’, a release that showcases the fresh direction of his sound at the meeting point of organic and progressive house.

The title track sets the tone perfectly. Sitting at a warm 121 BPM, ‘Acid Aikido’ unfolds over almost eight minutes, pairing earthy, organic textures with a steady progressive drive. Subtle acid touches weave through the arrangement like controlled movements in a martial art, flowing rather than forcing, and giving the track a hypnotic, meditative quality that builds patiently toward the dancefloor. It is the kind of record that works just as well in a sunset set as it does deeper into the night.

Based in Moscow, Taleman has built a strong reputation in the organic and progressive house scene, with releases on respected labels such as Amulanga, Songuara, Where The Shadow Ends, Hoomidaas, Rubicunda, Sound of Symmetry and Mango Alley. His recent ‘Dark Side’ EP alongside Devaloka and Ventt on Amulanga confirmed his knack for emotive, melodic club music, and ‘Acid Aikido’ sees him continue that momentum with a confident solo statement.

Try To Find Sound is a label that refuses to set narrow boundaries, moving across a wide spectrum of styles from organic house to melodic techno, with depth and melody always at the core of its identity. The imprint describes its community as a special place where you will find what you were looking for, and this latest return from Taleman fits that philosophy perfectly.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Acid Aikido’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
