Be Svendsen, the magical musician from Copenhagen, has been on a soul inspiring world tour, in support of his debut album ‘Between a Smile and A Tear,’ which was released this past fall. The fourth single on the album ‘Day 3’ is set to release June 28th, on Copenhagen’s Music For Dreams. With three versions to choose from, ‘Day 3’ explores further into new levels of Be Svendsen’s productions, with this timeless space-disco-voyage version. Be Svendsen is a true musician, offering live curated musical experiences, during each of his performances on tour.

‘The original ‘Day 3’ was conceived upon a feeling of the loss of an old expired jazz musician – It holds both the sorrow and the accepting of letting go.’ – Be Svendsen

‘Day 3‘ – Dark Matter – A club friendly edit of ‘Day 3‘ kicks off with a groovy, up-beat intro, which will have listeners immediately gravitate to the dance-floor. With trippy soundscapes, you may have just fallen through the rabbit hole… just in time for tea.

‘Day 3’ [Album Version] – The sounds of the guitar strum through the intro of this track, as a slow baseline emerges, paired with a mystical chorus, as if you were wandering through the deep majestic forest on an adventure. With beautiful instruments throughout, ‘Day 3’ takes listeners into the depths of a musical journey, with an unknown destination.

You can listen to the full premiere of the Dark Matter mix exclusively on When We Dip. You can also read the full interview we had with Be Svendsen about his album, his world tour and his inspiration here. Enjoy !

Release date : June 28th, 2019.
