Deep inside the solitary driving force of techno, tech house and deep moods lives Made in Paris, a name in Australian dance music too infectious not to indulge in.

A triple J and Australian festival favourite, Made in Paris has also caught the eye of Mixmag, Radio 1, Datatransmission, Ibiza Sonica for her smooth yet heavy releases and ethereal dreamy sets. Following on her highly reputable track record, she releases her first solo instalment of 2019, with single ‘Pursuit’ via Of Leisure.

‘Pursuit’ is everything we’ve come to know Made in Paris for. Possessed with whimsical enchantment, the track is curious in depth. A strong kick provides a platform for a progressive yet melodic journey with strong percussive undertones. In what feels like an intergalactic sonic sphere, enters a grimy bass line combines with a slick top line melody. From this base the track evolves as elements enter and escape, creating a perfect combination of intensity and release. It’s safe to assume the track is set to prick ears, both by entrapped dance enthusiasts, but also casual onlookers at festivals across the country.

Her recent release on Oliver Koletzki’s Stil Vor Talent attracted attention from tastemakers globally, cementing Made in Paris in Europe while attaining a plethora of support from pioneering producers after her remix of Luttrell’s ‘Windowscene’ grabbing over 400k streams. ‘Reconnect’ on Of Leisure took Triple J play by storm, while ‘Erratic’ EP on Upon Access, welcomed in the year with support from Joseph Capriati, Township Rebellion, Maceo Plex and more.

Now looking towards the Summer, Made in Paris is set to perform her abrasive new work across Australia. Performing at Brisbane’s Wildlands, Victoria’s Beyond the Valley and New South Wale’s Lost Paradise, the months over new years are looking to bolster her current reign on the Australian techno circuit. In the mean-time she’s has ventured over to Amsterdam, London and Berlin for a 6 week marathon selecting tracks across some of the meanest clubs across Europe.
