The NuKreative duo craft a beautiful EP, with tracks that are emotive, and groove-based in equal measure. Launching the project in 2018 with ‘Equanimity’ on Magician on Duty they achieved major support across the board, and with other releases on respected labels such as Kindisch, and All Day I Dream, the duo have delivered yet again, this time for Dawn till Dusk.

Opening with the blissful ‘Beyond the Sun’ the pair quickly create an elaborate and musically rich soundscape from warm pads, keyed synths, and organic shakers, which is deeply satisfying. On the remix, highly regarded producer Powel comes on board to add his special brand of magic to the original, reconstructing the track, as a warm and infectious deep house groover.

‘Make Up Your Mind’ continues the same intricate sound design, but adding a female spoken word, with icy pads, ethereal cries, and instrumentation that wraps you in a warm blanket of familiarity. Bass tones hint at the dance floor, not that you need much persuasion. Stripping back the beats, there is also a Broken Word version, which delivers stripped back beats, and a rich tonal ambience, that is understated.
