The new EP on Saturn Return is produced by Nuiton and Rowee and is a quality piece of music. ‘Lost Forest’ is a surreal march through a range of metaphorical textures. Endless permutations of rhythm, beat, percussion and a caustic voice are the main elements for more than 10 minutes. An additional acid synth finally emerges, breaking the rules of the beat. It’s romantic, hypnotic and strikes the perfect balance between angular rhythms and dreamy melodies. ‘Description of a Dream’ exudes ethereal patterns and nature-like sounds. The prominent bassline includes plenty of water drops and build-ups… this track seems to stretch out endlessly into the distance.
