Layer J will release his debut album, ‘Trick Part 1′, in November. The Swedish DJ and producer, who released his single Umbra’ in 2019, will release his debut album this fall via his own imprint Layer J recordings.
The ten-track project was recorded in his studio in the old town of Stockholm, and sees the producer evolve his progressive sound even further in the progressive and melodic house scene.
“On this album, I have visualised how I like it to be played out in the club. Experimenting with a lot of different sounds, having those ridiculous long breakdowns to build tension into a very club-oriented part.
It’s about telling a story through my music, it gets very melancholy time to time” Layer J says.
