Pole Position is no longer a secret and 2023 has been an exciting ride for the Barcelona-based musical duo. The new project was brought to life earlier this year by two well-known individuals. Behind Pole Position are the mighty former F1 driver Jaime Alguersuari (also known in the electronic musical scene as Squire) and Brunch Electronik Founder and CEO, Loïc Le Joliff.

Loïc and Jaime instantly connected, driven by their shared passion for music and Formula 1. Their attentive selection of music and their experimental approach to listening led them to uncover their strikingly similar influences, spanning from Jazz, Soul, and Hip Hop to Funk and evolving soundscapes. The promising duo recently have been spending a lot of time in the studio and it is certainly coming to life now, all craftsmanship with deep passion and love for electronic music.

They have an exciting lineup of releases scheduled for the final period of 2023, including two EPs and various remixes. On November 3rd, their first creation will see the light with the newly released EP named ‘Invaders’ that is coming out on Edu Imbernon’s label Eklektisch.

The EP is formed by 2-tracks which are: ‘Invaders’ which includes robotic vocals, progressive synths, and powerful kicks and ‘Robondanz’ which is more clubby and discoish. Both brought the feeling of being invaded by futuristic and fresh sounds.

As if that were not enough, Pole Position has prepared a ‘Fall Tour’ in which they will take the opportunity to present their new EP on the best dance floors in South America. It will begin on November 10 in Colombia and will pass through Mexico, Brazil, Chile and Argentina among others.
