Bora Uzer returns to his own label OJO with an electrifying new single titled ‘Rather Be,’ crafted purposely for dance floors worldwide. Known for his innovative style, the OJO founder teams up with the legendary London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC) in this dynamic release, blending the choir’s stirring vocal power with a driving four-on-the-floor beat. The track fuses shuffling hi-hats, a pulsing bassline, and hypnotic strings, creating a euphoric, emotive sound that’s as energetic as it is soulful.

‘Rather Be’ has already become a staple in Uzer’s summer sets and during his Pacha residency, thrilling audiences with its relentless energy and intense atmosphere. 2024 has seen the Turkish multi-instrumentalist and live artist continue his rapid ascent. In the last twelve months, the rising talent has captivated audiences across the world at events like Zamna in Tulum, EDC in Mexico, Tomorrowland in Belgium and CORE in Medellin. 

Bora Uzer was announced as Pacha Ibiza’s newest resident this past Summer, and was tasked with leading Pacha’s Flower Power brand into a new era with a 21 week residency. Running every Saturday thorugh the season, Uzer was joined by guests ranging from Boy George, Grace Jones and Roisin Murphy to Folamour, SG Lewis, Solardo and much more.
