Marginalia returns with its 24th release: ‘Get Wicked’ — a potent collaborative EP from Julian Koerndl and Severin Su, accompanied by a gripping remix from Berlin’s John Falke.

Austria-based Julian Koerndl is a classically trained pianist and percussionist whose productions blend cinematic emotion with percussive depth. With support from artists like Dixon, Âme, Solomun, and Mind Against, as well as releases on labels such as Innervisions, Habitat, Monaberry, Frau Blau, and Anims, Julian’s work embodies both sophistication and edge. His DJ sets strike a balance between driving rhythms and melodic vulnerability — music that is equally suited for the dance floor and for emotional resonance.

Severin Su, also based in Austria, crafts hypnotic, stripped-back productions influenced by deep house, downtempo, and ambient. His musicality stems from a long-standing relationship with the piano and an academic background in music theory and production. Known for his meditative yet groovy sound, Severin has seen releases on Monaberry, Radikon, Borders Of Light, Sirin Music, Awen, and Idyllik, with growing support across the European underground.

Together, they deliver ‘Get Wicked’ – a track built on snaking percussion, restrained vocal chops, and a confident, late-night pulse. It’s lean, moody, and tailored for dancers who like their grooves deep and unhurried. Berlin’s John Falke delivers a high-tension remix with tribal flair and melodic rise. ‘What U Say’ closes the EP in darker, late-night fashion – minimal, immersive, and haunting.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘What U Say’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
