Juliet Fox’s record label, TREGAMBE, presents a tantalising peak-time techno single by Anna Tur. Hailing from Spain, Anna Tur is a revered DJ and producer who is part of the Ibiza Global Radio dynasty, where she launched her career as one of the radio station’s most popular hosts.

Playing regular DJ sets at clubs in Ibiza and across Europe, Anna Tur has an eclectic style, which in recent times has focused heavily on techno. Not only has she released tracks on record labels such as Drumcode, Set About, Reload, and Truesoul, she also runs her own imprint, Lowlita Records. Alongside her many solo tracks, she has also collaborated with others ranging from The YellowHeads, to METODI aka Metodi Hristov.

Besides her wealth of original music, Anna Tur’s catalogue also includes remixes of tracks by the likes of Carl Cox, and this single is another example of her fine-tuned production skills. ‘Dreams Of Life’ combines hammering drums with an exhilarating lead synth. A tale of two halves, the meat of the groove is dark and intense, while the tranquillity of the breakdown creates uplifting suspense. Acid tones and juddering melody stabs add to the intensity of this hard-hitting track.
