Today on When We Dip, we premiere ‘Obsession’, the title track from Sinisa Tamamovic’s new two-track release ‘Obsession EP’, marking his return to his own Night Light Records with a powerful and uncompromising late-night statement.

Rooted firmly in darker club territory, Obsession showcases a deeper and more hypnotic side of Sinisa’s sound. The track blends rolling, pulsating rhythms with subtle melodic techno elements, carefully layered atmospheres and a controlled sense of tension that slowly builds across the arrangement. It’s a refined and emotional cut, designed for extended dancefloor moments where groove and restraint matter as much as impact.

The EP is completed by ‘Dark Matter’, a driving and groove-heavy roller built around a brooding mood and an explosive breakdown, clearly aimed at peak-time club settings. Together, the two tracks form a cohesive and focused release — dark, emotional and unmistakably club-ready.

A long-standing figure of the European underground, Bosnian DJ and producer Sinisa Tamamovic first emerged from Banja Luka in the late 1990s, quickly becoming known for his twisted blend of techno, tech-house and minimal grooves. Over the years, he has built a truly international profile, touring extensively across Europe, Latin America and the United States, and becoming widely respected for his energetic performances and precise, fluid mixing style.

Alongside fellow DJ Mladen Tomic, Sinisa also co-founded the influential Urban Beat organisation, which has played a key role in shaping the electronic music landscape in Bosnia and Herzegovina by hosting internationally recognised artists and large-scale events.

As a producer, Sinisa has released on a wide range of respected imprints including Sci+Tec, Tronic, Mindshake, Plus 8, Second State, Kraftek, Truesoul, Yoshitoshi, Senso Sounds and Systematic, while continuing to develop Night Light Records as a platform for both emerging and established talent. His catalogue has earned support from some of the scene’s most influential names, including Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Paco Osuna and Pan-Pot.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Sinisa Tamamovic – Obsession’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy.
