Paco Osuna’s record label, Mindshake presents a percussive tech house release by Merissa Mahilaa.

Merissa Mahilaa is a German artist from Mannheim who has an upbeat style sitting somewhere between tech house and deep tech. Her boisterous sound combines in-your-face vocals with prominent bass hooks, and this is her Mindshake debut.

Her music is played regularly in Paco Osuna’s DJ sets, and Merissa Mahilaa is also a talented DJ who’s a regular at many of Germany’s most respected events. She often plays international shows, getting booked everywhere from Romania to Italy.

She describes her style as; innovation, design that inspires deep emotions and unforgettable moments on the dance floor.

The title track, ‘Kitty Kat’ opens the release with a funky acid bassline and a fiery hip hop vocal sample, then ‘Crazy’ takes control with its hypnotic percussion and feisty lyrics.

‘Freak Like Me’ is third on the release with its rolling bassline and sleezy vocals, and ‘Baby I’m’ closes the release with its juddering bass and trippy vocal chops.
