Gregor Tresher is one of electronic music’s most enduring and respected figures. The German DJ and producer has spent decades honing a sound rooted in melody, groove, and organic movement, earning releases on iconic imprints including Cocoon, Drumcode, Turbo, Ovum, Intacto, Music Man, and Moon Harbour. His own label, Break New Soil, serves as an extension of his artistic vision, offering a platform for forward-thinking artists to explore modern dance music. With albums like ‘False Gods’ and ‘Riot Gear’ under his belt, and collaborations with the likes of Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath, Depeche Mode, and The Cure to his name, Tresher has long proven himself as a true heavyweight of the scene.

Now, he makes his much-anticipated debut on Sasha’s prestigious Last Night On Earth imprint. The ‘Concrete Echoes’ EP is a three-track collection of propulsive melodic house that feels both urgent and timeless, a testament to Tresher’s instinct for crafting music that resonates deeply on and off the dancefloor.

The title track, ‘Concrete Echoes’, sets the tone from the first beat. Airborne hi-hats and echoing pads drift through an atmospheric opening before vocals emerge between the snares, drawing the listener into a pulsating groove that builds with quiet intensity. It is the kind of track that rewards patience, revealing new layers with each listen.

Last Night On Earth has long established itself as one of the most respected labels in the melodic house and techno world. Founded and curated by the legendary Sasha, the imprint has consistently championed music that blends artistry with dancefloor functionality. Tresher’s arrival on the label feels like a natural and long-overdue pairing, two forces in electronic music united by a shared commitment to depth, emotion, and craft.

Tresher himself has spoken about his excitement for this collaboration, noting that these tracks have been highlights of his recent DJ sets and that releasing them on Sasha’s iconic imprint feels like the perfect fit.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Concrete Echoes’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
