Eli Fola lands on his Tech Afrique imprint with ‘Adoration,’ a Lagos-born single shaped during his recent homecoming run.
Completed following sets at ElementHouse and Sunday Service, the track channels a raw, immediate energy – part spiritual, part physical.
Blending gospel, Yoruba roots, and the influence of Black American house, ‘Adoration’ moves as both prayer and dancefloor ritual. Its central refrain calls to praise, while the Yoruba line “Atewo Ni Mo Fi a mo Bi O ba Mo Ore” (“through clapping, I know you are grateful”) drives a call-and-response built for collective release.
“‘Adoration’ is a spiritual journey back to my beginnings,” says Eli Fola. “For me, house music
has always been more than rhythm. It’s worship, it’s healing, it’s connection. This record is
about honoring where I come from, the traditions that shaped me, and the spirit that continues
to move through the music.”
