Berlin based producer and label founder Einmusik returns to Purified Records with a collaboration alongside London vocalist Shayan, leaning into the emotional depth and melodic precision that have shaped his output for more than two decades.

The track is built around Shayan’s intimate topline, and everything else is arranged to serve it. It opens in delicate atmospheres, holds its nerve through a long, controlled build, then settles into a driving late night groove without ever tipping into obvious release. Rather than chasing impact, Einmusik keeps the tension coiled, balancing introspection against a subtle but undeniable club energy. It is the kind of production that rewards a proper listen as much as it works at 2am.

The release also comes with a remix from Joachim Pastor, a central figure in the French melodic techno scene and a producer known for his orchestral, cinematic instincts. His version pushes the record into a more expansive and immersive space, trading immediacy for depth and layering textures and harmonics that extend the emotional narrative of the original while keeping its core identity intact.

Einmusik has spent his career quietly building one of the most consistent catalogues in melodic house and techno, both through his own productions and through Einmusika Recordings, the Berlin imprint he founded and still curates. His work has always favoured mood and craft over trend, and ‘Do You Think Of Me’ sits comfortably in that lineage. Shayan, meanwhile, has become one of the more in demand voices in UK dance music, with credits alongside Nathan Dawe, Paul Woolford and LF SYSTEM, and he brings a real vulnerability to this one.

Purified Records, founded by Nora En Pure, has grown into a home for exactly this kind of record, where melody, atmosphere and dancefloor function meet. The artwork by Daniel Lepik mirrors the music neatly, with waves colliding against rugged rock formations in a moment of controlled chaos, echoing the push and pull at the heart of the track. It is also a nod to the label’s ongoing environmental focus and its support for the Fossil Fuel Treaty Initiative and Only One, a reminder of how closely land, sea and air are intertwined.
