Metamorfosi Records welcomes its founder back to the imprint as Joseph Capriati unveils ‘Control,’ his second release on the label and first collaboration with fellow Italian artist GENNARO. The track brings two generations of Italy’s house scene together, with GENNARO joining Capriati for a collaboration that feels right at home within the Metamorfosi sound.

Now in its fourth season at Amnesia, The Metamorfosi residency has become an important extension of Capriati’s musical identity. With the club celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, his return to the institution that played such an important role in his early career adds another layer of significance to the project.

That sense of continuity carries through to ‘Control.’ Metamorfosi was created as a platform for Capriati’s musical world, and this collaboration expands that world without straying from its foundations. GENNARO brings his own character to the production, while Capriati’s influence remains clearly woven into its core, resulting in a meeting of two Italian house voices that feels both natural and considered.
