French producer Mala Ika joins Family NAME records. In this, her latest opus, she gives us two very fashionable tracks combining the rough, pumping sound aesthetics of Dark Disco and Indie Dance propelled by an insistent groove and ‘80s synths & some deep-plunging modulating basslines, both sweet and undeniably uplifting.

The EP is accompanied by a remix from label bosses APM001. Their interpretation of “Weirdos in The Rain” is based on a mighty bass to keep the dark disco vibe, supported by some nice melodic techno elements, energetic drums and with a heavenly voice see mystical, a real treat.
