Spektre’s record label Respekt drops a stomping techno release from imprint favorite Gary Burrows in collaboration with legendary vocalist Rowetta.

Gary Burrows is an accomplished techno artist from Birmingham, UK who’s making his eighth appearance on Respekt. His hard-hitting style blends rave influence with pounding percussion and dark atmospherics. His music can also be found on other influential record labels such as Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave and Andre Crom’s OFF Recordings.

‘No Different’ is the sole original on this release, and it features the vocals of Rowetta who’s a respected singer known for her work with iconic bands such as Happy Mondays.

It opens with gritty percussion and tense synth pads augmented by the bassline’s pulsating energy to create a dancefloor-orientated groove. Poignant piano chords and Rowetta’s powerful vocals mark the breakdown that is underpinned by a hardcore breakbeat.
