Otto Yliperttula (better known as Yotto) and Karolus Viitala are back with latest material under their Something Good alias. Locked away in the studio for eight years before releasing ‘Rhythm (Of The Night)’ at the end of 2022 to evidence their return, the Finnish pair move into 2023 with a rework of one of their earliest pieces of studio output: ‘Before Dawn’ (feat. Sansa).
‘Before Dawn’ burst forth from the womb of Fruity Loops back in 2012 and as word spread, became a staple on dance floors across the Nordic landscape even receiving remix treatment from The Shapeshifters. Now over ten years later Yotto and Karolus have resurrected the track that they hold so close to their hearts, to reflect how far they have come in their production & sound and reminisce on their college days where the story began.
Already picked up by Gorgon City, Joseph Capriati, David Vendetta and Sophia Francis among others, ‘Before Dawn’ signals the duo’s approach to the 2023 summer. Helmed by infectious, summer-scented piano chords and the radiant vocals of Sansa, this track will inspire listeners to embrace the magic of the moment before the night comes to an end.
