Kos:mo is back on Respekt Recordings with his second solo EP for the record label, and it’s a three-track release that blends old-school synth stabs with hard-hitting percussion.

Based in the German city of Cologne, Kos:mo is a talented young producer who has been making waves on the international techno scene.

His back catalogue also includes music on other scene leading labels such as UMEK’s 1605, Balthazar & JackRock’s Renesanz and Space 92’s Perfekt Groove Recordings.

‘Here & Now’ opens the release with its pounding kick drum, thrashing hi-hats and rising synth chords that form the foundation for upbeat vocal stabs. ‘Flashback’ has a pulsating bassline and rattling percussion that forms a foundation for hip hop style vocals and dramatic synth bursts. ‘Sonic Motion’ closes out the release with a high-octane groove that’s got rave influences and a warehouse party vibe.
