Some producers spend years searching for their sound, but Matthew Sona seems to have found his remarkably early. Born in 2004 and mentored by Peter Makto, one of the key figures of Hungary’s deeper dance music scene, the young Hungarian producer has quickly built a catalogue that places him among the most promising new names in progressive and organic house. His releases on The Soundgarden, Balance, Mango Alley and Clubsonica have already put him in the company of artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Eelke Kleijn, and he also runs his own imprint, All That Is.
This time, he lands on Zenebona Records, the Budapest-based label led by his mentor, with a remix for the ‘Aldilá’ EP by Artic White. Introduced to the scene by Lost Desert in 2024, the Sardinia-born producer currently sits at the top of Beatport’s Organic House artist ranking for 2026, with support from Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Nora En Pure and Tim Green along the way. Out October 16th under the catalogue number ZENE099, the EP features two uplifting, DJ-friendly originals in ‘Aldilá’ and ‘Simmetry’, plus a deeper, more emotional take on ‘Simmetry’ by Peter Makto himself.
Our premiere is Matthew Sona’s remix of the title track, a meeting of two of the brightest talents of the new generation. Fittingly for a track whose Italian name points to the beyond, he takes the original somewhere new, keeping its vibrant melodic spirit intact while reshaping it with the patience, polish and distinctive production style that have become his signature. Stretching over seven minutes at 122 BPM, it is a powerful addition to his steadily growing catalogue and a cut made to come alive on the dance floor.
You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Aldilá (Matthew Sona Remix)’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
