No one can deny it, the Irish electronic music is on fire at the moment. The talent that continues to crop up is amazing and today we’ve another name to add to that list! Demon Groove is the Electro House moniker of Dublin producer Darren Dunne. Although producing for a decade now, his mainroom and electro endeavours only began 3 years ago. Since then he’s cracked out a number of seriously hot tracks, check out the likes of “Mad Wax” (a personal favourite, incredibly cool Electro vibes!) and “Rock The Bad Noise”.
His recent EP Leningrad, featured below, is another indication of the man’s talent. It’s got great energy and is jammed with feeling but what’s most impressive is the standard of production, something too often missing from Irish producers.
Upcoming from Demon Groove is a new EP entitled Mk Ultra. It showcases a real versatility with a less intense vibe and stylistic elements from the likes Dubstep and Funk present. We’re thinking surely it’s only a matter of time before he starts to turn the heads of the major labels out there!
