Montréal pair Kora and Wuachuma re-unite under the Saisons banner once more with a beautiful new cut titled ‘Alpha’. It’s no surprise to see the slow-burning emotive piece riding right to the top of the electronica chart. ‘Alpha’ is a signature gem, following in the footsteps of ‘Nuit d’Afrique’, ‘Naavi’ and ‘Carrousel’.
‘Alpha’ is very much a symbol of Saisons, it was composed in a remote chalet in the middle of the boréal forest of Northern Québec, which gave inspiration to its delicate feel and palpable textures. The mystical calling of the owls, the primitive groove of nature, the nocturnal sky offering a window to the universe.
