Monkey Safari deliver the third release on Thick As Thieves’ newly-minted imprint as they drop their ‘Fix Your Life’ EP to close June. Featuring as one of melodic house and techno’s favorite duos, German pairing Monkey Safari continue to showcase their studio prowess as they explore the corners and nuances of the genre via releases on the Anjunadeep, Bedrock, Get Physical, and their own Hommage imprint. And while the DJs, producers, and label bosses continue to impress with a wealth of original material, their next project welcomes a fresh track under their DJ Island ‘collaborative guise’, having unveiled the alias on home turf for the disco-fuelled single, ‘Sometimes’. Hot on its heels, June welcomes a debut appearance on Thick As Thieves’ newly launched label, having toured with the Melbourne mainstays years, as they follow material from Super Flu, The Journey, and Not Just Me to deliver their ‘Fix Your Life’ EP.

A sun-soaked anthem guided by resonant piano melodies, infectious soulful vocals, and slinking hats, ‘Fix Your Life’ welcomes a bright, feel-good slice of house music. To contrast, the warping ‘Pills’ dives down a late night, funk- infused wormhole as acid leads meet skittering drums and bumping bass licks to round out proceedings in style.
