2022 has been an exhilarating year for Reza Safinia. The rising Los Angeles-based artist performed live for Mixmag, officially launched his Music and Texture imprint with a stellar release, “Funkbible (Re-interpretation)”, in collaboration with German heavyweight producers Super Flu, and garnered massive support from the likes of Pete Tong, Joris Voorn and many more.

Fresh from performances on the playa for the likes of Mayan Warrior and Pink Mammoth, we are delighted to invite him for a playlist takeover as he shares his lasting recollection along with 15 standout tracks from this year’s Burning Man experience. It’s all below!

”I had some great times DJing at this burn, the harsh white outs and heat actually created an atmosphere where people really needed the release of dance… These were my favorite tracks to play, all these songs have something in them that viscerally makes you move your body, some of them have wild surprise sections… It’s an amazing feeling to see people’s bodies autonomously take over and move as you drop these tracks… And burning man is the place for self expression, so as a DJ it’s like watching performance art unfold in your audience!” – Reza Safinia
