Guatemala City’s underground scene has been producing some serious talent lately, and Bebbo sits right at the front of that wave. A young and skilled connoisseur of dance music with a strong focus on heavy rhythms and mesmerizing melodies, he has built a reputation for sets that are full of energy and harmony, captivating the most demanding crowds around the world.
His story begins on a trip to the United States a few years back, when his art teacher invited him to a Deadmau5 show in New York. That night was enough to spark a lasting passion for music and DJing, one that has since carried him onto stages alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Nic Fanciulli, Cristian Varela, Sasha, Stacey Pullen, Pleasurekraft, Umek, Jay Lumen, Harvey McKay, Patrick Topping, Paolo Mojo, Ramón Tapia, Ramiro López and Cuartero.
2026 has been a busy year for the Guatemalan. Following his ‘All Gas No Brakes’ EP on AXEPT earlier this year, Bebbo has just landed ‘Conga’ on Armada Music alongside Gian Varela and D.Lacrux, a collaboration that shows exactly why his name keeps coming up in tech house circles. To celebrate the release, he recorded a brand new mix for our Prima Lux series.
The mix kicks off with ‘Conga’ itself before working through a tightly programmed selection of tech house grooves, including Chapa & Castelo and Naijles’ ‘Tasty’, Groove.FM’s ‘What’s That Called’, the DDDancos remix of Twolate’s ‘Rebola’, Dapuelo’s ‘Funky Floor’ and Kolter’s ‘Trapped’ to close things out. It is a session built on heavy, swinging rhythms and infectious hooks, and a perfect introduction to one of Central America’s most exciting rising talents.
