Premiere: Temple Tears lights up Kiosk ID with gripping, cinematic cuts across ‘Addiction’ EP

Kiosk ID returns with its 43rd release, bringing together desert mysticism, psychedelic edges, and club-driven momentum. At the center of the new three-track EP is ‘Addiction,’ the gripping new cut from Temple Tears, which we are excited to premiere today. Built on compact drum patterns and glowing, contorted synth lines, the track moves with a sense of constant motion—oscillating between mechanical grit and delicate emotional shimmer. Its strobing melodies carve through the mix like beams of light across a dusky expanse, creating a feeling that’s both haunting and deeply uplifting. ‘Addiction’ is radiant, tense, and hypnotic, carrying the pulse of Melodic House into something more introspective and cinematic.

The full EP traces a wider sonic landscape shared between Temple Tears and bīsu. ‘Temple Kiss’, their collaborative piece, fuses plucked organic elements with heavy subs and wild acid modulations, unfolding like a supercharged blend of ethnic hues and futuristic drive. It’s raw, inventive, and physical—music designed for nights that stretch long past the expected. bīsu closes the release with ‘Hear Me’, a sawtooth-laden ritual of mangled pads, spectral vocal fragments, and gradually blooming strings. The result is a hypnotic seance of sound—both gritty and transcendent, drifting between shadow and euphoria.

Together, the three tracks form a cohesive sonic totem: desert-born, acid-touched, and emotionally charged. ‘Addiction’ stands at its core, a glowing beacon of groove and vulnerability that captures the spirit of Kiosk ID at its finest.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Addiction’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
