Marginalia opens its 2026 calendar with ‘The Time Is Now’ EP, a powerful four-track showcase from Brazilian producer Offtide, marking his first full solo release on the label after debuting on Marginalia’s third-ever VA in 2025. Blending shadowy grooves, driving percussion, and emotive melodic lines, Offtide pushes deeper into his own sonic identity with his most complete statement to date.

The EP’s title track, ‘The Time Is Now’, created in collaboration with Brazilian artist Kamikaze (BR), stands at the centre of the release: a hypnotic, forward-driving cut built around tense synth motifs and rolling low-end weight. It’s the kind of track that unfolds with purpose on the dancefloor – urgent, spacious and unmistakably Offtide.

Timelapse joins the project with a striking debut on Marginalia, reshaping ‘The Time Is Now’ through his signature ethereal, melodic lens. His remix expands the original into a widescreen journey: glowing arps, cinematic detail, and a slow-rising emotional lift that transforms the track into something both euphoric and introspective.

Rounding out the EP, ‘Telephono’ explores rubbery basslines and flickering synth patterns with playful rhythmic movement, while ‘Dance, Babe’ shifts into a club-leaning, late-night mood-sharp, minimal and aimed at those peak dancefloor moments where tension meets release.

With ‘The Time Is Now EP’, Marginalia continues its mission to highlight distinctive voices across its global community. Offtide delivers a bold, evolving sound, while Timelapse’s label debut adds a fresh melodic dimension – together forming a release built for modern dancefloors, deep listening, and everything in between.

You can now listen to the full premiere of the title track, ‘The Time Is Now’, exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
